🐠 Experience world-class snorkeling and diving at Tiran Island – one of the Red Sea’s premier sites, often rated among the world’s top 10 dive destinations. Located near the entrance of the Gulf of Aqaba, Tiran’s dramatic underwater landscape features four magnificent reefs: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon. Each offers a unique spectacle – from colourful coral gardens and oceanic drop-offs to schools of tropical fish and occasional reef sharks.
Departing from Sharm El Sheikh, you’ll sail for approximately 90 minutes across sparkling turquoise waters. Your day includes 2‑3 stops to snorkel or dive. Certified divers can explore deeper walls, while beginners can try an introductory dive with professional instruction. Snorkelers will glide over shallow reefs teeming with angelfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, and perhaps sea turtles or rays. Between stops, relax on the sun deck, enjoy a freshly cooked buffet lunch, and sip unlimited soft drinks. This full-day adventure is perfect for all skill levels and includes hotel transfers, equipment, and guidance. An option to add professional underwater photos/videos is available.

🏝️ About Tiran Island & Its Famous Reefs
Though the island itself is uninhabited and belongs to Saudi Arabia, the waters surrounding Tiran are part of the Ras Mohamed National Park. The four main reefs – Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, and Gordon – are named after 19th-century English cartographers who mapped the area.
- Gordon Reef: Known for shallow coral gardens, moray eels, and a small lighthouse marking the reef’s edge.
- Jackson Reef: Northernmost reef, famous for strong currents and such drift dives, large gorgonian fans, and the rusty „Lara“ wreck.
- Woodhouse & Thomas Reefs: Characterized by steep drop-offs, pelagic fish encounters, and pristine hard corals.

Insider Tips: The 90‑minute sail is quite relaxing; bring a light jacket for the morning breeze. The sun deck can be windy, so secure hats and sunglasses.
